Moritz Milatz, the professional member of the Multivan-Merida team, suffered serious facial injuries in a crush during the final race of the XX Maremma Cup which took place on March 7th. This accident affected both him and his team and everybody is shaken. According to recent news, it is reported that Mortiz felt in the third round and hurt his face badly. The Merida physiotherapist Oliver Wrobel informed the media of his injury.

This 27 year-old biker from Freiburg was immediately taken to a hospital, as he had no memories about the crush and had to undergo a detailed check through a tomograph. Fortunately, the doctors couldn’t find any other severe injuries. However, Moritz was urgently taken to another clinic where a nose surgery was performed.
The next big event on his calender this year was the Cape Epic, it is not probable he will be ready for the early season stage race.
