The widely known and popular Wisconsin Off-Road Series (WORS) has announced its 2010 program, and also introduced a new sponsor. Starting its 19th season, WORS has approximately 600racers and about 800 spectators in the each event of the 12th different venues all over Wisconsin. WORS is also going to host on the US Pro Cross Country Tour (US Pro XCT).
This year’s series will start with the Iola Bump and Jump on May the 2nd. Five moths later and after the 12th events a conclusion will be made with the Wigwam MTB Challenge, taking place in Sheboygan. It is thought that the fifth round will attract most international attention as it will also host the the US Pro XCT which will give UCI points to the best elite racers. The Subaru Cup will take place in MT. Morris on June 26th and 27th.
Trek Bicycles, the manufacturer of the Wisconsin based bicycles, gave its support to the largest mountain bike series by offering his sponsorship for the event of Subaru Cup US Pro XCT. The races constitute cross country, Super D competitions and short track races. Also, the official bicycle for 2010 WORS will be the Top Fuel of Trek.
