Bart Brenjens, the first Olympic champion mountain bike has won another race on the second Sunday of February. The race was the second stage in a series of eight. In the first half hour a group of five riders got ahead of the peleton. Brentjens and Jelmer Pietersma had to sprint for the victory, witch Bart Brentjens won.
"Last week we came back from a good traningscamp in SouthAfrika. We've been there with the team to prepare for the season ahead. Today was a good training aswell. I'm very happy races like these are organised." sais an elated Brentjens
Brentjens and Pietersma, today the were adversaries, in march they race as a duo in the Cape Epic.
