Traditionally like every year, the UCI voted for the best organisations of Mountainbike World Cup events in the various disciplines also in 2009. The German Offenburg won for a second time in a row in the category cross country where the smooth organization, spectacular track and the huge enthousiatic crowd stood out...

On the podium for cross country, we notice the same ranking as last year as well. The Belgian organization of Houffalize is second in front of the Canadian Mont-Saint-Anne.

But Mont-Saint-Anne isn't unrewarded for its efforts! After being at the bottom of the rankings for its 4X World Cup event, the organisation now conquers the first spot...

With the 2010 World Championships in mind, the organizers decided to show off with a totally new track during the 2009 World Cup event. This investment and effort is immediately rewarded by winning this trophy. With its new track and nighttime event, the Austrian Schladming finished second while the Scottish Fort William ranks third.

In the downhill category, the small French village of La Bresse claimed all the attention... Doing so, they refer frequent winner Fort William to a second place while Mont-Saint-Anne ranks third once again. The short and original downhill track and the dedicated crowd made quite an impression on the racers and the other jury members of the UCI.

That jury was a mix of racers, teams, journalists, the UCI and sponsors of the UCI... The Canadian Mont-Saint-Anne is the biggest winner of this award with one win and two third position and being represented in every discipline. A comfortable feeling while looking forward to the 2010 WOrld Championships Mountainbike & Trials!
