Winner of last year's Crankworx Whistler Slopestyle, Spaniard Andreu Lacondeguy, has recently broken his scaphoid bone in his right hand during training.
The freerider already had surgery where a little screw was implemented to fix the bone properly. By doing this, the non-active status of Andreu will be limited...
"When you race and train a lot, it means you will crash more as well.", says Andreu, "I was already having some problems with my hand, but hardly felt any pain from that."

"But a few days earlier, I made a big crash from which I was sure that it was broken now and I had to let it be fixed. The operation went well, but my hand is not yet 100%: that will take some weeks.", explains the Spanish freerider.
"I will be riding a lot of trails before showing my biggest tricks again, I will also ride the moto track before hitting the ramps again. I hope to be back for theANTI Days of Thunder from June 29th until July 4th."
