Mountain Windham

The USA will be hosting the penultimate World Cup race of the 2010 season and are back on the World Cup calender mountainbike since 2005.

Since 2005, the USA didn't have the privilege to host another World Cup race mountainbike. The 2005 event was hosted in the Angel Fire Resort in New Mexico.

This time the choice was made to head for Windham Mountain Resort in New York where there will be a so called triple event with cross country (XCO), downhill (DH) and 4X (four cross).

"We are all excited about the return of the World Cup series to the USA.", says USA Cycling’s Mountain Bike Events & Program Director Kelli Lusk. "The organizers and volunteers of the up until now C1-event in Windham have always shown their enthusiasm and support for American mountain biking with their successful organization."
