Wednesday evening MTB-live.com went on the World Cup track of Offenburg. Some big names were still checking out all details of the track.
Winner of the first World Cup race in Pietermaritzburg Elisabeth Osl (Central-Ghost), Christoph Sauser (Specialized), Irina Kalentieva (Topeak-Ergon), a Canadian national squad and also Belgian champion Githa Michiels (Team Saeco) were all still in training in Offenburg.
Racers experience the track less difficult than last year due to the dry soil and some even claim some technical zones are widened up to maintain speed as well... |
| Nevertheless the obstacles remain impressive: Dual Speed, Worldclass Drop, Wolfsdrop and the never ending Snakepit. We anxiously awaits to know who goes in the footsteps of Irina Kalentieva and Julien Absalon (Orbea) as winners of this World Cup event. |
