The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup of DH and 4X is taking place in Leogang on May 19th and 20th. You can check out the official DH and 4X overview maps listing the most relevant features of the tracks, while the official map offers a general overview of the new Austrian UCI World Cup destination and some spectator hot spots.
Chris Ball, the UCI representative reveals some interesting details about the DH course. It is one of the longer courses on the World Cup circuit with its 2600 meters, having an altitude difference of 524 meters and promising a top speed of about 80 km/h (50 mph). It takes riders about 4.30min to complete. It is also both physical and technically challenging. Leogang is composed of natural and fast singletracks, steep drops and very technical sections, testing athletes and their strength to keep up their speed.
