Roel Paulissen takes the double... again!

Roel Paulissen

Just like last season, Roel Paulissen (Cannondale) takes the double at the Roc d'Azur cycling event in the south of France. After winning the marathon race one day earlier in the world champion jersey, Paulissen did the same in the cross country race in his Belgian champ jersey!

Although Swiss racer Christoph Sauser (Specialized) was very eager during the race, the Specialized-racer would finish 14th due to a flat tire in the last kilometres of the race...

Roel Paulissen praised the Swiss for his efforts: "Sauser was very strong today. Not dominating, but taking risk at full speed in the downhill sections. But the track suits me well and then there was the flat tire of Sauser in the final moments of the race. Now I'm going to do some free-riding to round up this season with a party!"
