Austrian racer Alban Lakata has once again claimed the national mountainbike marathon title. In Kirschberg he had a big lead on Heinz Verbnjak and Jakob Nimpf.
In the women's race, Monika Schachl claimed the champion jersey while defeating Maria Osl and Nina Duftner. Maria's sister, Elisabeth Osl, let this mountainbike marathon championship in her hometown pass by.
